ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Bobby D. Moore...

I am a seasoned graphic designer and multimedia specialist with over 25 years of experience in visual, digital and print design strategies.  I have a keen since of layout, typography, color theory and a somewhat annoying attention to detail!

I have lived in Northeast Texas for most of my life with my beautiful family and three puppies!  I love PC gaming, music and playing my 1999 Collector’s Edition DW Drums.

After spending 8 of my early years in radio broadcasting as a regional DJ and musician, I was blessed to be able to turn a hobby into a career.  As a self-taught novice designing posters and artwork promoting my band in Northeast Texas, I started down a creative path I’d never regret.  Buying “for dummies” books and searching the early internet for any tutorials I could find, I created my first website in 1997.

Realizing the future of radio was becoming more and more dependent on satellite talent, I was able to move back home and start my graphic design and web development journey for a local internet provider in 2000.  Through my music connections and love for live entertainment, in 2002 I was hired by a new entertainment venue in DFW – NextStage at Grand Prairie / Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie.  While working from home, I handled the venues internal print and multimedia design needs.  I was literally “learning on the job”.

In 2005, I took a post as an internal designer for Priefert Manufacturing, and an international farm and ranch manufacturing company in Mount Pleasant, TX.  There I continued to learn new skills and techniques to further my creativity but truly missed the live entertainment industry.  In late 2005, the parent company of Verizon Theatre, AEG Live (Anschutz Entertainment Group, now AEG Presents), needed extra help with email marketing and graphics.  I freelanced nights working on “e-cards” for the Bon Jovi – Have a Nice Day Tour, creating email marketing graphics for each city of the tour

I continue to learn, struggle and learn more!

In late 2007, I began an almost 10-year stint, working remotely, for AEG Live within the Interactive Marketing department.  I collaborated with a talented team promoting live entertainment, events, concert tours and venues across the world.  But as with most large successful companies, change is inevitable.  Under new management and branding restructure in 2017, AEG Live laid off all their remote designers opting to go 100% in-house.  I was devastated and lost, but it was a time for change.  I don’t believe in coincidence; I believe in a God that knows me by name – and He had the perfect opportunity waiting.

In March of 2017, only a month later, Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) tapped me to come on board as a Multimedia Specialist.  What started with a simple redesign of their internal Intranet, quickly grew into overall branding, graphics and multimedia responsibilities for the entire health system.  Titus is one of the last independent hospitals in Texas with 15+ ambulatory clinics.  From building a streaming studio, mentoring junior designers, to designing an ambulance fleet, wall murals and rebranding clinics, I continue to learn, struggle and learn more.  It is rewarding to realize that something I create can have a positive impact on the health of another!

Lastly, I am college educated, but I do not hold a degree of any kind. I am a self-taught creative and a true STAR – Skilled Through Alternative Routes – rather than a bachelor’s degree. In the past, I would try to hide this fact and hope one would gloss over in my “education” section without notice.  But, I now own it and wear this as a badge of honor proving my willingness and commitment to learn, adapt and thrive!
